Training in precision farming systems

Sumy NAU has completed a three-day cycle dedicated to the problems of introduction of precision agriculture (STZ) system in Sumy region. On March 22, a specialized audience of 115m engineering and engineering faculty received training for specialists of engineering and agronomic services of Sumy region with STZ.

The reports of the scientists of the agronomic faculty Assoc. Onichka VI and Assoc. Zakharchenko EA with coverage of the experience of the use of STS elements in soil assessment and the functioning of plant life systems. For this purpose, during the growing season, the means of visualization of the state of agricultural crops were used throughout the sowing area.

The features of engineering and software of technological processes during the cultivation and harvesting of grain and industrial crops were reported by:

Zubko VM and Alexander Petrovsky, Sales Manager of Precision Farming Equipment at Jupiter-9 Agroservice LLC, Sumy region.

The chief engineer of FG “Svitanok” Gruzdo MO shared valuable additions to the practical use of the STZ.

The meeting of specialists revealed some contradictions in the system of technical support of modern technologies, in the chain dealer – service engineer – operator in the farm. But the overall conclusion was one: a trained specialist with basic knowledge of precision farming systems and the ability to work in modern production and modern technology should come to production.
