In 1972 he graduated from Komarnyv High School in Lviv region.
In 1977 he graduated from the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy, Faculty of Agriculture Mechanization. He received a qualification as a mechanical engineer.
In 1984 he graduated from graduate school at the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy.
In 1986 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in specialty 05.20.01 "Mechanization of agricultural production".
Since 1977 - Senior Laboratory Assistant at Sumy Branch of Kharkiv Agricultural Institute.
Since 1978 - Assistant to Sumy Branch of Kharkiv Agricultural Institute.
Since 1984 - Senior Lecturer at Sumy Agricultural Institute.
Since 1986 - Head of the Department of Tractors and Agricultural Machines of Sumy Agricultural Institute.
Since 2005 - Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
