Loboda Valeriy Borysovych was born on August 6, 1950 in the village. Markovka Belopolsky district of Sumy region in the family of a teacher, Ukrainian.
After graduating with a gold medal in 1967, Markovskaya secondary school studied at the Physics and Mathematics Department of Sumy State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Makarenko, (now Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko), who graduated with honors in 1972 and received the specialty of teacher of physics and mathematics. After graduation, he worked in it at the Department of Physics (researcher, assistant, assistant professor, professor).
In 1984, in the specialized council of the Institute of Materials Science of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (Kiev), he defended his thesis on «The structure and electrical properties of thin films of chromium, nickel, scandium and rhenium obtained in high and ultrahigh vacuum», specialty 04/01/07 - solid state physics.
From 1993 to 2006 worked as dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
He is the author of 150 scientific papers (28 of them are included in the SCOPUS scientific and metric databases) and 2 scientific monographs, 4 study guides with the stamp MON.
For conscientious work, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity, he was awarded the memorial sign “For outstanding services to the staff of the Pedagogical University” (2012), was awarded the University Diplomas, the Certificate of Honor of the Sumy Regional Department of Education and Science (2005), Certificate of Merit of the Chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration (2009), Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2005) and nym sign of MES "For scientific and educational achievements" (2015.), has the honorary title of "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" (1994).
Since 2016, he has been working as a professor at the Department of Energy at the Agro-Industrial Complex of Sumy National Agrarian University.From 2016 to August 2019, Loboda V.B. He worked as a professor in the Department of Energy in the agro-industrial complex of Sumy National Agrarian University.
Since September 2019, Loboda V.B. He works as a professor at the Department of Energy and Electrical Systems of Sumy National Agrarian University.
The main academic disciplines: «Theoretical foundations of electrical engineering»
Field of research: studies of the structure and electrophysical properties of thin metal films, (solid state physics, thin film physics, vacuum physics).
Further training: 2017 FPK at Sumy State University in the direction of «Electrical Engineering».
