Teachers of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Associate Professor of the Department “Occupational Safety and Physics” Ph.D. Khvorost T. and senior lecturer of the Department “Operation of Technology” Ph.D. Mikulina M.A. took part in the International summer school “Research – into practice. Waste management. ” It was held on August 22-31, 2019 at Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University as part of the Ukrainian-Czech project “Support of young university capacity in education and research and science activities in Ukraine” with the support of the Czech Republic Development Cooperation.
The program was eventful: the participants repeated the basics of scientific research and Scientific writing (features of each structural part of a scientific article). Participants received useful tips for writing, publishing articles and tips on how not to fall into the trap of fake magazines that impersonate magazines with a WoS or Scopus index. They also reviewed the work of the reviewer and the main reasons why he could reject the article.
The training included a study visit phase, during which we got acquainted with waste management at various enterprises: BTNAU Training and Research Center, UkrNDIPVT Pogorely, FG Rasavske, Kagarlitsky District, Kiev Region, Visit to Biogas Electricity Production Complex – LLC “Rokityansky sugar factory”.In the end, our teachers presented their reports, according to the results of which they received mini grants for the implementation of scientific research in the field of waste management!
