He was born on January 17, 1965 in the village of Chervony, Sumy district, Sumy region.

In 1979 he graduated from 8 classes of the Chervonensky eight-year school. In the same year he entered the Sumy technical school of the sugar industry.

In 1983 he graduated from the Sumy technical school of the sugar industry with a specialty: "Automation of production processes".

1985–1990 Studied at the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv Agricultural Institute at the Faculty of Agriculture Mechanization.

After graduating from the institute he worked as the chief engineer of the state farm "Shpilovsky" of Sumy district, Sumy region.

In 1992 he went to work at the Sumy Agricultural Institute as an assistant of the Department of Tractors and Agricultural Machines.

In 1994 he entered the postgraduate course.

In 1998 he defended his PhD thesis on the regulation of stress-strain state of structures.

1998-2005 - worked as an associate professor of the department "Tractors and agricultural machines".

From October 2005 to the present time I have been working as a head and associate professor of the Department of Engineering Systems Design.
The main subjects are: Hoisting-and-transport machines, Biofuels: the efficiency of their production and use in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, Engineering networks and structures in the agro-industrial complex.

Field of research: Reduction of anthropogenic load on the environment due to the improvement of technologies of utilization of vegetable wastes of agroindustrial complex.

Grant, state budget and governmental subjects: DBT “Improvement of technology of utilization of commercial sunflower waste with the aim of reducing technogenic load on the environment” (2016-2019, State Register of Research and Development in UkrINTEI 0116U003581).
