- Education:
in 1984, graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) (major: “Hydraulic Machines and Automation Means”). - in 1990, defended his Candidate of Sciences dissertation on the topic “Development and Investigation of New Designs of Packed Gland Seals for Nuclear Power Plant Pumping Equipment”.
- in 2023, defended his Doctor of Sciences dissertation on the topic “Mathematical Models of Processes in Centrifugal Machine Sealing Systems”.
Work Experience:
- worked in the Research Laboratory of Machine Vibration Reliability at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Sumy Branch of KPI: from 1984 to 1994 as a researcher (from 1986 – Junior Researcher, from 1991 – Senior Researcher), participating in developments for aviation engineering and nuclear power plants.
- from July 2020 – Senior Researcher at the Pukhov Institute for Modeling in Energy Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IPME).
- from 2024 – (part-time) Professor at the Department of Power Engineering and Electrotechnical Systems, Sumy National Agrarian University.
Main Academic Disciplines: “Design of Power Supply Systems for Agricultural Industrial Complexes”, “Thermal Power Plants”.
Scientific Work: author of over 90 publications, including over 10 articles in international journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.
Research Focus: development of methods in the theory of sealing and vibration reliability of centrifugal machines.
