- 1999–2003 – Sumy State University, Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering with a specialization in Refrigerating Machines and Units; diploma with honors.
- 2003–2004 – Sumy State University, Master's degree in Refrigerating Machines and Units; diploma with honors.
- 2004–2007 – Sumy State University, Department of Technical Thermal Physics, full-time postgraduate studies in specialty 05.05.15 – Vacuum and Compressor Engineering.
- 2009 – defended PhD dissertation in specialty 05.05.14 – Refrigerating, Vacuum, and Compressor Engineering, Air Conditioning Systems. Dissertation topic: "Generalized model of the working process of a liquid-ring compressor machine."
- 2010 – received the academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

Research Focus: Improving energy efficiency in energy facilities, including electric power engineering, electrotechnologies, heat transformers, boiler installations and heat supply systems, vacuum and compressor engineering, as well as heat and mass transfer processes in power installations and apparatuses.
