2001: Defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the topic "Improving the Reliability of Assembly Systems by Optimizing Technological Time Chains".

2004: Recognition of his PhD degree as equivalent to the academic degree of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) according to the international standards.
