Scientific activity:
- 2001 - defended the thesis for obtaining the scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences on 05.02.08 - Mechanical engineering technology on the topic: "Increasing the reliability of assembly systems by optimizing time technological chains". DK diploma No. 011849 from 2001
- 2004 - the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine confirmed the correspondence of the academic degree of the candidate of technical sciences to the academic degree of Ph.D (Academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy).
- 2008 - elected a valid member of the Ukrainian Technological Academy in the "Modern Technologies of Mechanical Engineering" department. The title of academician was awarded by the decision of the Presidium of UTA.
Participates in the certification of scientific workers - 12 times acted as an official opponent in the defense of theses. He is the supervisor of dissertation works of graduate students, under his supervision in 2023 the dissertation of the Doctor of Philosophy was defended.
In 2020, the Order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine No. 1111 dated September 7, 2020. appointed as an expert to evaluate the effectiveness of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities in the scientific direction "Technical Sciences".
In 2022, by Order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine No. 1111 dated 12.12.2022. was appointed as an expert to carry out an examination of scientific research projects and scientific and technical (experimental) developments submitted for participation in competitions held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and reports on their implementation in the thematic direction "Mechanical Engineering".
In 2024, he was chosen as an expert for conducting an examination of scientific research and development submitted to the National Research Fund of Ukraine in the field of technical sciences in the specialty "Processes of physical and technical processing". In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine dated 12.07.2024 No. 982, included in the list of Ukrainian experts of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for carrying out scientific and scientific and technical examination of objects of examination in the field of scientific and scientific and technical activity in the scientific direction "Engineering and technology", according to specialties 133 - Industrial engineering and 131 - Applied mechanics.
Field of research: Ensuring the operational properties of the working surfaces of machine parts with environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies. development resource-saving technologies for the production and renovation of industrial equipment, and advanced technologies of its reengineering.

Author of 500 scientific and educational and methodological works, 61 publications included in the SCOPUS database (h-index - 15), 44 patents, co-author of 17 monographs, 9 of which are foreign (in the EU language).
