ITF Faculty Week begins with first aid workshop
On October 29, at 11 o’clock in the audience of 313m, a master class was held to provide first aid to the victims of accidents for students of almost all SNAU faculties and staff. Leading Red Cross Specialist and current faculty member of the SSU Medical Faculty Shapoval IV with the help of the model showed the basic principles and techniques of rendering first aid, namely: artificial respiration and artificial heart massage. Igor Viktorovich answered the questions of the audience and introduced the new method of heart massage with the help of an automatic defibrillator, which has already been widely used in Ukraine and which allows 99% to remove a person from the state of clinical death, that is, to save her life.
