Opening History. The innovative module of milk production and processing was created on the basis of the Machine Milting Laboratory on December 24, 2020. The equipment for the updated laboratory was provided by the Sumy NAU partners-O’bereg cheese factory and Ichnian dairy. In addition to traditional dairy techniques, higher education applicants in this laboratory will also be able to study the craft technologies of its production, which are gaining popularity today. The main purpose of creation is to provide the applicants with knowledge and skills that will allow them to fully manage the process of obtaining and primary processing of milk at enterprises, agricultural firms and dairy farms.
The main specialization. Modern laboratory for the training of highly skilled engineers in the field of livestock and primary processing of milk.
The audience conducts classes and seminars in disciplines (“Machines and equipment for animal husbandry”, “Machines and equipment for processing and storage of agricultural machinery”, “Agricultural machinery”) for applicants in the specialties (208 “Agro-engineering”, 181 “Food technologies”).

Logistical support. A laboratory that combines equipment for milk and further processing. Among the milk equipment, the parallel milking installation is somewhat shortened to be able to show it more than clearly to the applicants. This installation was provided by Obereg and, in particular, Opryshko Leonid. The milk lines were made transparent, and the computer shows the amount of milk obtained, installation pressure, etc. In order for the applicants to be able to read the system in detail. The milk collector accumulates milk and pumps it already to the cooler. From there, milk is served to the tubular pasteurizer, which was kindly provided by partners – the company “Ichnian dry milk and butter”. The pasteurizer is a working model and also has many transparent elements, which improves the perception of information on the peculiarities of its structure. For the convenience of the applicants, a multimedia installation is installed for visual demonstration of the material, after which the applicant is able to start processing on specially designed designs. The uniqueness of this laboratory is that it is fully active and any component can be started. This is important for future engineers, as they are able to get acquainted with the equipment not from books, but clearly.
