Project goals: Contribute to the modernization and internationalization of higher education in Georgia and Ukraine by developing a new joint Master of Science (MSc) course in Precision Agriculture. Integrate cutting-edge curriculum focusing on sustainable practices, advanced technologies, and digital transformation to enhance the quality, relevance, and accessibility of higher education. Targeting HEI staff, students, and agricultural professionals, the project seeks to equip these groups with the necessary competencies and skills to lead and innovate in sustainable agricultural practices. Ultimately, ReGrow aims to support socio-economic development, environmental sustainability, and the digital transformation of the agriculture sector, fostering regional integration and cooperation in line with EU’s priorities such as the Green Deal.
Project objectives:
- Development/updating curricula and practices in agricultural education in Ukraine and Georgia
- Enhancement of Digital Proficiency & Tech Access infrastructure in agricultural higher education
- Stimulating Agricultural Innovation & Research Capabilities of HEIs to revise existing mechanisms and pedagogical methodologies.
- Overcoming Barriers in Labor Market Connectivity with Higher Education & Export Challenges
- Increasing activity in the development of green skills to promote addressing of challenges in Environmental Sustainability & Climate Change Adaptation
- Enhancement of Collaboration & Knowledge Exchange among HEIs, industry representatives and public bodies
- Reskilling and Upskilling of academic and administrative HE staff
- Supporting the enhancement of agricultural productivity in Ukraine and Georgia
