April 23, 2020 on the basis of the Department of Metal Technology and Materials Science. A.N. Petrichenko Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University hosted the final conference of the second stage of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty “Materials”.
From Sumy National Agrarian University, the rating lists of students invited to participate in the final scientific and practical conference included the work of the 1st master course student of the Engineering and Technology Faculty of the MEX 1901-2m group Mikhail Pilipiva on the topic: “Study of the properties of coatings formed by energy-efficient surface engineering methods impellers of machines ”(supervisor, Ph.D., associate professor EV Konoplyanchenko).
94 works from different higher educational institutions of Ukraine were submitted to the competition. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the introduction of quarantine for all types of educational institutions, regardless of ownership and management, the results of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty “Materials” in the 2019/2020 academic year were carried out according to the results of the first stage of the second round. Based on the peer-reviewed scientific works of the participants, the industry competition commission determined the winners of the competition.
Work from SNAU on the topic: “Study of the properties of coatings formed by energy-efficient methods of engineering surfaces of impellers of machines” won the prize III place, and student Mikhail Filippov was awarded a diploma of the III degree.
