History of Establishment
The Educational Physics Laboratory began operating simultaneously with the establishment of the Engineering and Technological Faculty. Today, it functions as a structural unit of Sumy National Agrarian University (SNAU) and is part of the Department of Occupational Safety and Physics of the Engineering and Technological Faculty.
Purpose and Objectives
The main goal of the laboratory is to:
-
Provide students with a solid theoretical foundation based on understanding the laws of physics, physical phenomena, and processes;
-
Equip students with in-depth knowledge of those areas and laws of physics that are essential for studying related disciplines whose content is based on physical principles, as well as for their future practical engineering work;
-
Facilitate comprehension of the fundamental laws and principles of physics to help students grasp the general patterns and phenomena of the natural world.
Specialization
The educational laboratory ensures:
-
Conducting laboratory and practical sessions in accordance with the academic curriculum;
-
Organizing seminars and open classes;
-
Supporting scientific experiments carried out by academic staff and students for the purpose of preparing scientific publications and qualification works.
Disciplines Taught
Classes and seminars are held in the following subjects:
-
Physics
-
Biophysics
-
Physics and Chemistry
-
Advanced Mathematics and Physics
-
Thermodynamics, Heat Engineering, and Hydraulics
These are delivered to students of various higher education programs.
Material and Technical Resources
The physics laboratories are located on the 4th floor of the Engineering and Technological Faculty and consist of three separate laboratories:
-
