Quiz “Experts in Physics”
On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, the Department of Labor Protection and Physics held a quiz “Experts in Physics” for schoolchildren of the 11th grade of secondary school No. 6 (responsible head of the Department of Labor Protection and Physics Associate Professor S. Khursenko). The event was held as part of the “ITF Week” in order to familiarize future applicants with the material and technical base of the Faculty of Engineering, the rules of admission to the university, encouraging them to choose physics or mathematics in the preparation of UPE. The school was represented by 2 teams of 11-A and 11-B classes from 6 students who were accompanied by their physics teachers.
Members of the Faraday Cylinder team competed for victory with worthy rivals from the Intes team for five rounds. The results of the competition in each round were evaluated by a jury in the composition of the deputy. Dean for career guidance work Semernya A.V., Associate Professor A. Vasilenko, Associate Professor Gorovoy S.A. and Assoc. Khursenko Svetlana Nikolaevna. Despite the diverse and sometimes not very simple tasks that the participants in the game set the leading quiz Assoc. Khursenko Svetlana Nikolaevna, students demonstrated good knowledge of physics, worked in a concentrated and harmonious manner under the guidance of their captains. In addition, all participants received incentive prizes, so no one was left without attention.
