Date and place of birth: August 6, 1950, Markivka village, Sumy district, Ukraine.
Education:
- 1967–1972 – studied at the Sumy State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Makarenko, specialty "Physics and Mathematics", diploma with honors.
- 1984 – defended his PhD dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in specialty 01.04.07 – Solid State Physics, on the topic "Structure and electrical properties of thin films of chromium, nickel, scandium, and rhenium obtained in high and ultra-high vacuum".
Work Experience:
- 1972–2018 – worked as an assistant, instructor, associate professor, and professor at the Department of Physics of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko.
- 1993–2006 – served as the Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko.
- 2016–2022 – worked as a professor at the Department of Energy and Electrical Systems at SNAU.
- From 2023 – worked as a professor at the Department of Occupational Health and Physics at SNAU.
- From 2025 – Professor of the Department of Energy and Electrical Systems at SNAU.
Main Academic Disciplines:
- Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering
Scientific Work: Author of over 200 publications, including over 50 articles in international journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science scientometric databases. h-index: 12.
Research Focus: Vacuum physics; study of the structure and electrophysical properties of thin metal films.
